Discover Northwich Woodlands

Created from what was once largely derelict land, the Northwich Woodlands now provides a rich and green environment to the north of Northwich town centre.

Northwich Woodlands is made up of nine countryside sites each with a different character and history. The Weaver Navigation and the Trent and Mersey canal flow through the heart of the Northwich Woodlands adding further variety to the landscape.

Northwich's own oasis with its rich countryside and stunning wetlands. Explore on foot, by bike or on horseback and enjoy this unique wilderness on the doorstep of town.

Bodge Chip and Whittle
Come and join the Rangers and volunteers around the Lodge by the Rangers' office. See demonstrations or even have a go at traditional crafts including Besom Making, Wood Turning, Willow Weaving, Whittling and other similar activities.
