FOAM to create a scrape

FOAM have gained funding to create a scrape in the far field at Marbury Country Park which will provide a new type of habitat out in the field.

Hopefully dragonflies and other water borne insects will thrive. The land to the North of the scrape will be planted with a mixture of native shrubs. The remainder of the field is part of the wildflower meadow creation scheme, where the existing vegetation is deep ploughed and wildflower seed sown.
